Want a better look at the Nissan iDx concepts the Japanese automaker debuted at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show?

Giving us a preview of the future for Nissan and its compact sports car, the automaker unveiled the iDx Freeflow and iDx NISMO concepts at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. The iDx Freeflow concept is geared towards lifestyle buyers while the iDx NISMO aims to be an affordable and unique sports car on today’s market.

Lurking under the hood of the iDx Freeflow will be a powerplant ranging from 1.2 to 1.5 liter in size and mated to a CVT transmission while the iDx NISMO sports a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT with a six-speed manual shift mode. That is, if either of these models should make it into production sporting their Datsun 510-inspired styling.
