Lexus is teasing its upcoming RC-F performance model again before its debut during the 2014 Detroit Auto Show next month.

The previous teaser showed the front three-quarter panel, wheel and the “F” badge found on current IS-F models. This time, the
company is showing the top of its hood, which features a rear-facing air intake. Lxus is still playing coy about mechanical details, but if the brand follows its usual habit of recycling engines, this car will have a 5.0-liter V8 just like the IS-F. Otherwise, it
might use the same 3.5-liter V6 found in the IS350 F Sport, although the brand could enhance the powertrain with electric motors for improved performance.

Nothing has been confirmed about the car other than the fact that at least one model is blue, that it has a vent on the front quarter panel, a hood vent and that it will feature a front fascia similar if not the same as other current models.
