Is something really new if you can’t tell that it’s new?
That seems to be the case with the 2015 Volkswagen Jetta, which the German automaker vows has been refreshed. Styling wise, the refresh is as mild as it gets in the automotive world, with a new front grille, mildly altered front bumper and LED daytime running lights. Given that the Jetta is the brand’s best-selling nameplate, it might be unsurprising that VW stayed conservative with its changes.

But still, in an automotive segment that’s continuing to evolve, the minor changes to the 2015 Jetta might not be enough to keep it competitive. Perhaps Volkswagen was just patiently waiting to see the new 2015 Sonata and Camry before it played its cards. The 2015 Volkswagen Jetta will arrive showrooms in the third quarter of this year, just make sure it’s a 2015 model year when you’re buying.

Actually looks nice. Far better than the plain models rolled out in 2011. Interior seems to be improved...it has the new Golf MKVII steering wheel and materials may be improved. Slight HP bump for TDI.
