2015 Honda Civic Gets Small Price Bump, New SE Trim

Honda is expanding the Civic lineup for the 2015 model year and increasing the base price by $100 to sit at $19,080.

The 2015 Honda Civic will gain a new Special Edition (SE) sedan trim positioned between the LX and EX models which adds over $1,100 worth of telematics, audio, comfort, convenience and style upgrades for just $700 additional compared to the LX sedan.

The base-model LX sedan equipped with a five-speed manual transmission will start from $19,280 including destination while the EX equipped with a CVT will start from $21,980. The SE sedan comes standard with a CVT and has a starting price of $20,780.

Coupe shoppers will have a lower base price with the LX five-speed manual coupe priced from $19,080 while the EX with a manual transmission is $21,180. The range-topping EX-L coupe equipped with navigation and CVT will start from $24,930.

Those wondering where the 2015 Civic Si, Hybrid and Natural Gas models are, they will join the lineup in the fall according to the Japanese automaker. Expect pricing on those models to be released closer to their availability.
