Audi Connect Adds Online Media Streaming Services

Certain Audi models can now stream music from popular online services.

The German automaker has announced that the revised model lines of the Audi A6, A7 Sportback and the new TT sports car feature a new optional connect service on board that will allow owners to stream music through online providers Napster and Aupeo! In order to take advantage of the service, owners must have the MMI navigation with infotainment system along with the Audi connect equipment option installed.

Once owners install the free Audi MMI connect app on their smartphone, they’ll have access to stream music from Napster and Aupeo! radio service, gaining access to almost 20-million music tracks and several thousand audio books in mp3 format.
