Now that you’ve seen how stunning the MercedesAMG GT S, how does it sound?

It’s true that Mercedes went the downsized and turbocharged route with its newest sports car, but that doesn’t mean the GT won’t be an aggressive performance machine. With a 4.0-liter turbocharged engine under the hood, we already know that the GT S will provide 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque, but will its exhaust note compliment that performance?

Now we have our first glimpse of what the venerable sports car sounds like and it’s a growl that any automotive enthusiast can appreciate. Those that were still skeptical that the turbocharged V8 wouldn’t sound as menacing as a naturally aspirated engine, fear no more.
