Curious to see how the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is built?

The American automaker released a video in collaboration with Barrett-Jackson showcasing the first production Charger SRT Hellcat VIN#0001 being built. That specific vehicle sold for $825,000 at an auction with the Engelstad Family Foundation matching that selling price to raise a total of $1.65 million to benefit Opportunity Village. The total amount raised meant the first Charger SRT Hellcat raised more money for charity than any other car in Barrett-Jackson history.

Now you can get a closer look at that historic vehicle being built, from the body being assembled and painted to the engine undergoing testing. The car was assembled at the automaker’s Brampton Assembly plant in Canada with a Stryker Red paint job and of course the 6.2-liter V8 with 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque under the hood.
