2015 Toyota Prius V, C Get Light Refresh

Toyota has revealed some light updates for both the family hauling Prius V and subcompact Prius C.

New for 2015, the larger Prius V gets a revised front bumper and grille along with newly available integrated fog lights and LED projector low- and high-beam headlights. Three new colors, Attitude Black Metallic, Absolutely Red and tasty Toasted Walnut Pearl are also now available.

Inside, a new 8-way power driver’s seat is now available while technology is updated with a new 4.2-inch touchscreen that comes standard on trim-level three and higher. Toyota also updated the advanced technology package for 2015, which now includes lane departure alert and automatic high beams alongside adaptive cruise control and a pre-collision system.

Pricing for the 2015 Prius V has decreased by $75 on the base model to sit at $27,500, while the most expensive model has seen a price increase of $540, with the price tag now sitting at $31,760.

As for the small Prius C, styling changes for the 2015 model year include a restyled front end, new standard single LED projector low- and high-beam headlights and new “light pipe” taillights. Three new color options have also been added to the smallest Prius, known as Electric Lime Metallic, Tangerine Splash Pearl and Sparkling Sea Metallic.

The base Prius C also benefits from a host of new standard features, including a piano black front grille, piano black and chrome interior accent upgrades, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, 60/40 split fold-down rear seats, cruise control and a 6-speaker audio system upgrade.
