Infiniti has fully lifted the virtual covers off its Vision Gran Turismo Concept.

Following in the footsteps of multiple automakers that have created wild concepts for the Gran Turismo 6 video game, Infiniti’s version will be available for download starting today on the PlayStation 3. According to the Japanese automaker, the concept started off “as an ambitious global Infiniti Design competition to ‘design a pure Infiniti GT car.’ The winning model was born from the theme put forward by Infiniti’s Design team in Beijing.”

The result is a concept that goes beyond just a design exercise, said Infiniti. The company did thorough examinations and calculations of technical features including aerodynamics and engine performance. Sporting a front mid-ship, trans-axle powertrain the Infiniti Concept Vision Gran Turismo has a 45:55 front-to-rear weight balance that will help gamers enjoy actively drifting the rear.
