The next-generation BMW 5 Series has been caught by AutoGuide.com‘s spy photographers again.

We got our first look at the new 5 Series late last year and this time around our spy photographers spotted it cold weather testing. While it still sports just as much camouflage as before, we can see that the 5 Series is shaping up to look more like a smaller 7 Series as time goes on.

The new BMW 5 Series is expected to make its debut next year and the German automaker is planning to give it a wide range of models including a new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder option. Also expect the new 5 Series to be about 220 lbs lighter than its predecessor.
