2016 Mercedes-Benz SLC Spied Testing

Another Mercedes-Benz models is about to be re-named.

The German automaker’s current SLK will become the SLC when it gets updated for the 2016 model year. Before the Mercedes-AMG GT got its current name, it was often referred to as the SLC since it was essentially a baby SLS model. But now we know that the SLC nameplate will be for the German automaker’s entry-level convertible.

Expect the 2016 Mercedes-Benz SLC to get a redesigned front grille, new headlights and new front bumper. In the rear, the bumper will also get swapped for a new unit while the tail lights will get new graphics.
