2016 Dodge Viper ACR Price Starts at $117,895

Dodge has announced pricing for the fastest Viper yet.

The new 2016 Dodge Viper ACR price will start at $117,895 not including destination charges or a gas guzzler tax. The base Viper goes for $89,590, which means the ACR package is a $28,000 upgrade.

Just like the standard Viper, the ACR gets its power from an 8.4-liter V10 engine with 645 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque. Setting it apart from the regular Viper are all the track-focused upgrades, including an optional Extreme Aero package that gives the car one ton of downforce at top speed, unique race suspension, massive carbon ceramic brakes, weight savings and a unique interior.

Production of the new Viper ACR is set to begin at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in the third quarter of 2015. Order books for the car are now open, with vehicle due to begin shipping in the third quarter of 2015.
