2016 Toyota Prius Spied With Heavy Camo
The upcoming redesigned Toyota Prius has been spotted testing wearing full camo.
Some front end details are visible, while the Prius’ body lines are pretty clear in these spy photos, showing the car’s lower, more sedan-like roofline. Riding on Toyota’s new TNGA modular platform, the Prius will grow slightly, though it will also be more efficient than the outgoing model.
Thanks to a lower center of gravity, tuning by Toyota and a more powerful engine, the new Prius will offer a sportier drive than today’s car, though it won’t forgo fuel economy to do so. Toyota has hinted that the car will be up to 10 percent more efficient than the current model, bringing US fuel economy to around 55 mpg.

All-wheel drive is expected to be available with the new car, which should help to sate buyers who live in areas with snow. A new-generation plug-in hybrid model is also being developed.
The 2016 Prius will make its debut at either the Tokyo Auto Show or LA Auto Show later this year.
