There's a Street-Legal Koenigsegg Agera RS Coming to the US
There’s a Koenigsegg Agera RS that is being built fully homologated and road-legal for the U.S.
First introduced at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the Koenigsegg Agera RS is one exquisite machine boasting 1,160 horsepower. The exotic is limited to just 25 units and the seventh vehicle in production is the one heading to the U.S. Known on the line as chassis number 128, the Swedish automaker has gotten permission to document the build from the future owner.
According to Koenigsegg, the U.S. market hasn’t been a huge one for the brand with the vast majority of its vehicles sold to Europe, the Middle East and Asia. But the company is dedicating more time and resources to the U.S. market, noting that homologation in the country “is a complex and expensive process that has to be redone with each new model variant, but it’s one we committed ourselves to some time ago.”

Koenigsegg will document #Build128 on its website and social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The company currently plans to deliver the vehicle by mid-2016.
