Move over Bugatti Chiron, the Koenigsegg Regera has arrived looking hot at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The production Koenigsegg Regera has been unveiled and the Swedish automaker promises that it will deliver over 1,500 horsepower of performance along with over 1,475 pound-feet of torque. If that wasn’t impressive enough, it tips the scales at 3,505 pounds wet, which includes all water, oils and fuel. Yes, that means the Regera has more power than the Bugatti Chiron and weighs less.

A year ago, the Koenigsegg Regera debuted in concept form at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and since then, the automaker has made over 3,000 changes before it arrived at the production model. Naturally it’s bowing at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, where all the supercars come to play.

But it looks like for the time being, the Koenigsegg Regera will be the king on paper, sporting a zero-to-62 mph time of 2.8 seconds on its way to 186 mph in a mere 10.9 seconds. The company estimates that it could launch to 249 mph from a standstill in just 20 seconds!

It’s worth noting that the Regera’s 0-62 time is actually slower than the Chiron’s reported time of 2.5 seconds. The Regera however, takes over on the top end, with the Chiron needing 13.5 seconds to reach 186 mph.

Although the company doesn’t disclose any sort of figures for all-electric driving, we’re going to guess most owners won’t care. It did however say that research and testing resulted in an 800-volt, 4.5-kWh battery pack which means the Regera is the world’s first 800V production car.

And it’s not all about good looks and performance. Koenigsegg also outfitted the Regera with standard Apple CarPlay integration with Wi-Fi functionality. The interior features seats with heating and electrical adjustment with memory function.

Deliveries of the Koenigsegg Regera will begin at the end of 2016.
