Mercedes-AMG is finally going back to work on Black Series models.

There have been quiet whispers that new Black Series models are on the horizon and now spy photographers have caught this extra wide, extra aggressive E63 Wagon testing. Sporting plenty of camouflage, it’s easy to spot the wider fenders on the prototype, while the front bumper is concealing larger air intakes and overall sportier styling. It might be an odd choice for the German automaker to bring out a hot wagon, but wagons remain popular in Europe and the new E-Class Wagon is actually heading to the U.S.

Unfortunately, Mercedes-AMG has no plans of bringing the E43 Wagon to the U.S., but hasn’t ruled out the possibility of the E63 variant. Considering how much U.S. enthusiasts love anything with high performance, don’t be surprised if the Mercedes-AMG E63 Black Series Wagon is offered in the U.S.
