Famous McLaren F1 designer Gordon Murray has gone out of the box for his latest creation.

Called the Global Vehicle Trust OX, this creation can be flat-packed in about six hours and shipped off to anywhere to be assembled and used. About six of these flat packs could fit in a 40-foot container and a team of just three can assemble the truck in as little as 12 hours.

The goal of the Global Vehicle Trust is to bring usable and affordable transportation to developing countries and the OX helps satisfy conditions by being cheap and easy to ship around the world.

It’s shorter than an SUV and can carry nearly 4,000 pounds (1,814 kilograms), allowing it to transport up to 13 people, eight 44-gallon drums or three European-sized pallets. Although it is only two-wheel drive, Global Vehicle Trust promises performance equal to other four-wheel-drive vehicles while power comes from a 2.2-liter four-cylinder diesel engine.
