Look for the BMW i8 Frozen Black and Frozen Yellow Editions to bow at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The latest additions to the lineup of exclusive, limited-production BMW i8 hybrid sports cars feature unique matte paint finishes. The BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition will celebrate its premiere at Geneva in March, while the i8 Protonic Frozen Yellow Edition will launch later this year. Along with the special paint on the exterior, both models get bespoke interior styling that further accentuates its “avant-garde allure,” as BMW says.

Both models are similar to the i8 Protonic Red that BMW debuted around the same time last year, and like that special edition model, there are no mechanical changes to the Frozen Black and Frozen Yellow Editions.

Joining the BMW i8 Protonic Frozen Black Edition at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show will be the facelifted 4 Series and new 5 Series Touring models.
