A More Affordable Supercar is Arriving This Summer

The Rezvani Beast Alpha is reportedly going to arrive this summer starting at under $100,000.

Sporting a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 500 horsepower, the Rezvani Beast Alpha claims to go zero-to-60 mph in just 3.2 seconds while weighing a scant 1,950 pounds (885 kilograms). The supercar made its debut at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show and at the time, the American automaker said it would be priced around $200,000. Since then, the company has posted up a website for the model, saying that pricing starts from $149,000.

But now, it’s taking pre-orders for the Rezvani Beast Alpha and is saying that it the 2018 model will start at under $100,000. Deliveries are expected to begin this summer and to reserve one, you’ll have to give up a $1,000 refundable deposit.

The company says the Beast Alpha is “an evolutionary addition to the lineup” and will feature a targa-style top, trademark SideWinder doors and Apple CarPlay. Unfortunately accessing the online configurator for the Beast Alpha still shows a starting price of $149,000.
