Audi is once again putting the Q8 through its paces at the Nurburgring.

This time around, spy photographers also managed to grab photos of an SQ7-based Q8 mule’s interior, revealing some of the new controls and displays heading to the Q8. It appears Audi will streamline the cabin by using fewer buttons and more touchscreens. In addition, they noticed one of the prototypes with its doors open, revealing that the Q8 has frameless windows to give it a more coupe-like appearance.

Not only will the upcoming Q8 share its platform with the Q7, but likely its powerplants as well. There is a rumor that a high-performance RS Q8 is in the works, that will use a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with over 600 horsepower, likely the same engine set to be used on the Lamborghini Urus.

Look for the Audi Q8 to go on sale next year.
