Subaru has begun a teaser campaign for the BRZ STI.

It appears the Japanese automaker will unveil the Subaru BRZ STI on June 8, 2017, so like the Dodge Demon, expect more teasers to be released in the coming days. Unfortunately for Subaru, spy photographers have already caught the Subaru BRZ STI testing, so we already have a real good idea of what to expect. Along with the large rear carbon fiber spoiler, the BRZ STI will boast a more aggressive front end, larger Brembo brakes, different fender vents and unique wheels and tires.

The production version shouldn’t depart too far from the Subaru BRZ STI Sport Concept that bowed at the 2017 Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year. There should be some suspension tweaks to the car but we aren’t very optimistic that performance gains are heading its way.
