Photos of Jeep’s new three-row SUV for China have leaked online.

The large SUV, which is to be called the Grand Commander, was previewed by the handsome Yuntu Concept that debuted in China last year. Unlike the concept, which sat six people in a 2+2+2 configuration, the production version seats seven in a 2+3+2 layout.

According to Car News China, the Grand Commander will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine under the hood, which will be available in 232 hp or 265 hp versions. The publication also claims it has a wheelbase of 2800mm, or about 9 feet.

Fiat Chrysler is currently working on a luxurious three-row SUV for the North American market, which is expected to be called the Wagoneer. It will also be offered in a Grand Wagoneer form, which will be more luxuriously equipped than the lower-tier version. We don’t believe it will share much in common with the Grand Commander pictured here, but this vehicle gives us a good idea of what Jeep’s vision for a big three-row SUV is.

The Jeep Grand Commander should make its official debut in China sometime this year.
