Apollo IE Hypercar Sounds as Crazy as It Looks

Last October, Apollo unveiled its insane Intensa Emozione (IE) hypercar, and now one of those 10 units have made a public appearance.

As one of the rarest hypercars in the world, there’s a good chance you will never see one in person. But thankfully YouTube exists and those that are fortunate enough share their experiences online. YouTuber 19Bozzy92 ran across the Apollo IE at the first Cars & Coffee Italy event of 2018 and while he says it’s a “rather boring video,” we found it quite exciting to watch. Sure, the Apollo IE isn’t tearing up the track or even doing a quick sprint to 60 mph, but we not only get to see the intricate design from all angles, we get to hear the note of its 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine.

Riding on a bespoke carbon fiber chassis, the Apollo IE features 780 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque, while weighing just 2,756 pounds. There’s Formula One-inspired suspension components and Brembo supplies the brakes, ensuring every inch of this hypercar has top-quality parts. Hopefully one day someone manages to capture the IE on the track, where it belongs. Apollo is giving owners exclusive access to the Time Attack program, which is set to run on Europe’s most relevant tracks.
