The 2020 Cadillac XT6 is currently testing in the U.S. and we’ve now gotten our best look yet at the upcoming crossover.

Wearing heavy camouflage, this particular prototype gives us a good idea of the XT6’s overall dimensions, as the three-row crossover is Cadillac’s answer to the Volvo XC90, Lexus RX L, Audi Q7, and more.

The new model is based on GM’s Chi platform and it will ride on an all-independent suspension with a MacPherson strut design up front, and a five-link independent design at the rear. Look for power to come GM’s Epsilon powertrain family, which includes a 3.6-liter V6 engine paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, expect the XT6 to be packed with luxurious amenities and technology, similar to what you would find on the CT6. In terms of price, it should slot between the current XT5 and the high-end Escalade.

Look for more details in the coming months, as the 2020 Cadillac XT6 should make its debut later this year at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show.
