Take a Video Tour of the New BMW M5 Competition
The BMW M5 Competition made its debut earlier this month, solidifying itself as the most powerful BMW M5 to date.
The M5 Competition features a 616 hp version of the M5’s 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8, which is paired with an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and M X-Drive all-wheel drive. BMW claims the big, heavy sedan will hustle from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph.
Other standout equipment on the M5 Competition includes active engine mounts, reworked suspension, an M Sport exhaust system, black exterior trim and Competition alloy wheels.

Don’t listen to us go on and on about the M5 Competition though – take it from BMW themselves. The German automaker recently put together a video giving us a full walkaround of the high-performance sedan, giving us our best look at the sedan before it arrives at BMW dealers later this year.
