Will we see a new top 10 run at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed?

In the U.S., everyone knows about the annual Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. But in the U.K., it’s all about the Goodwood Festival of Speed Hill Climb. This year, the event will run from July 12 to July 15, and you can bet there will be some notable cars making the climb.

To get everyone excited for this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, Goodwood Road & Racing has released a new video showcasing the top 10 fastest Goodwood Festival of Speed Hill Climbs ever, raising the question on whether a new contender will make it onto the list this year.

The slowest of the top 10 runs was set by Rod Millen in a Toyota Tacoma, with a time of 45.08. The current fastest Goodwood Festival of Speed Hill Climb run is held by Nick Heidfeld in a McLaren-Mercedes MP4/13, who did it in 41.6.
