Genesis G70 Gets New 3D Digital Dash
The Genesis G70 has received a new digital dashboard for the new model year in its home market of South Korea.
The new 3D digital dash appears in the 2019 model year G70 in Korea. Genesis says the 12.3-inch cluster features several themes that alter look of the gauges, which include Modern, Comfort, Smart, Space, Eco, Edge and Sport. We imagine the theme displayed in the image above is for ‘Sport’, seeing as it features a g-force meter front-and-center. The rather intense red backdrop also leads us to believe we’re looking at the ‘Sport’ theme.

The dashboard is reminiscent of BMW’s new digital cluster display, which features a similar design and layout and also features different backdrop themes.

Examples of G70 that are currently arriving at US dealers won’t be equipped with this technology. It’s not for certain that it will arrive in the future, either, with spokesman Kevin Smith telling AutoGuide that it is “yet to be determined,” if it will be offered in the US market.
