Morgan Motor Company is 110 Years Old and Going Strong

Morgan Motor Company is celebrating its 110th anniversary in 2019 and has marked the occasion with a complete range of upgraded and refined ‘110 Anniversary’ models.

Morgan’s current lineup isn’t much different than it was all those years ago, consisting of the 4/4, Plus 4, Roadster and 3 Wheeler. All will be offered in 110 Anniversary guise, receiving unique badging and minor upgrades inside and out.

The Plus 4 and Roadster will get a sporty front valance, sports exhaust system and motorsport-inspired leather bonnet straps.
The unmistakable 3 Wheeler also gets unique exterior add-ons in the way of black roll hoops, a black exhaust, black heat shields and a body color engine cowl.

Inside, the Plus 4 and Roadster get performance seats, a Moto-Lita steering wheel and new options such as contrasting stitching and embroidered 110 Anniversary logos on the headrests. The 3 Wheeler, meanwhile, gets center split seats, quilted leather stitching and new storage pockets.

The 110 Anniversary Morgan models are offered at no extra cost over the standard models on which they are based.

“It is an immense pleasure and an honour to lead the Morgan Motor Company as we approach such a significant milestone in our history,” said Morgan director Steve Morris. “We are delighted to be thriving as a privately owned, British, family owned automotive manufacturer, and in our 110th year of business are stronger than ever. ”

Morgan says its new 110 Anniversary models will be available starting next year. Morris is also promising more exciting announcements from the family-owned British manufacturer throughout 2019.

“Milestones such as a 110th anniversary offer everyone associated with the brand an opportunity for reflection, as well as an opportunity for us to offer even more to our customers.,” he said. “The ‘110 Edition’ vehicles are the beginning of our celebrations, and we look forward to making further exciting announcements throughout 2019.”
