The Stealth Look Package Adds Sporty Dark Trim To The Lucid Air

The Lucid Air Stealth Look is an addition to the Lucid Air lineup.

The Lucid Air is a great vehicle, with its distinctly mid-century modern design, complete with platinum brightwork. But for some, the shiny, silvery (or bronze-ish) metal trim is too ostentatious. Lucid has an answer for those folks, in the form of the Stealth Look package.

The Stealth Look package changes 35 different components on the Lucid Air, from the bright silver finish to a muted dark satin polished finish. The mirror caps, roof, and front headlight surround have notably, all been given this treatment. Lucid says the finish is “reminiscent of the spéculaire black polishing technique employed in fine horology and jewelry.” The Stealth Look package extends to the wheels too, with dark satin inserts appearing on the 20” Aero Lite and 21” Aero sport wheel choices.

Lucid’s senior vice president of Design and Brand, Derek Jenkins, says the Stealth Look package was planned from the get-go. “From its inception, Lucid Air was designed for two distinct looks that reflect the duality of its personality: standard Platinum Look, which highlights its luxurious nature; and now Stealth Look, which is simultaneously assertive yet under-the-radar,” said Jenkins.

Lucid says the Stealth Look package is available in all colors. The package is available on all trims except the base Pure trim. It will cost $6,000 ($7,500 CAD), and enter production by the first quarter of 2023. As for now, the Stealth Look package will be added to Lucid’s configurator by August 10.
