2025 Kia K4 Lines Up To Replace Forte

The 2025 Kia K4 will be shown at the New York Auto Show during the week of March 27. To accompany the announcement, Kia showed off some teasers of the new sedan, which can be seen below. For one thing, it’s clear the K4 will be a departure from the vehicle it’s set to replace: the Forte.

At least aesthetically, the design looks to be a big update, bringing the sedan more in line with some of the angular themes we’ve seen at Kia of late. Both the front and rear appear much more squared, and the lighting arrangement at the front suggests much more angular lights with some cool-looking DRLs. Other notable highlights include the squared-off kink in the rear passenger window glass.

Similarly, powertrain details are also under wraps. However, it’s not a huge gamble to suggest the K4 will stay in the ballpark laid down by the Forte’s 201-horsepower four-cylinder. The possibility of a manual is still in the cards, and buyers can go out and buy a six-speed Forte GT if they’d like. Whether that stays around remains to be seen. For now, we expect more information when the exterior design is shown on March 21.
