Lamborghini announced that 1,000 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 supercars have now been produced.

It took only one year and three months for 1,000 Aventadors to be made, a milestone that came significantly sooner than the Murcielago, the Aventadors predecessor, which took two years and five months to produce 1,000 models.

The 1,000th Aventador rolled off the line destined for a Bavarian architect who is adding the LP 700-4 to his other Lamborghini, a Diablo. His example is a stunning Argos Orange.

Lamborghini says that the production of the Aventador has been steady, and that the Sant’ Agata Bolognese plant where the Aventador is produced has increased production to 4 and a half vehicles per day.

Lamborghini also says that it has at least another 18 months worth of orders for the V12 supercar.
