Jaguar has released a video explaining its new all-wheel drive setup bound for the XF, XJ and XK in 2013.

Called intuitive all-wheel drive, the system is meant to simulate a rear-wheel drive setup when possible, and when wheel slip is detected, re-route torque appropriately. This all-wheel drive system is continuously variable, and allows torque to be transferred from front to rear, and side to side.

The video shows Jaguar engineers testing the setup in Northern Sweden at a facility that was designed for developing the off-road capabilities of the Range Rover.
