2021 Jaguar Cars
Jaguar has thoroughly transformed itself with a much broader range than ever before. Both the XE and XF keep the brand in the sport sedan segment, with turbocharged four-cylinder and supercharged six-cylinder engine options. The full-size XJ ceased production in 2019, though a rumored all-electric successor shouldn't be too far off.
Jaguar still builds growling V8 sports cars too. The F-Type continues to carry the eight-pot engine, and even got a facelift for 2020. Those that want even more performance should look to the "Project" series from Jaguar's SVO division. It's been showcasing what the brand can do with the F-Type-based Project 7 and XE Project 8.
Jaguar also offers a trio of crossovers. The E- and F-Pace bring the brand's stylish good looks to the high-rider crowd, while the I-Pace puts an all-electric spin on the class.
Founded in 1922 by Sir William Lyons, Jaguar has produced a number of historically significant sports cars, including the C-Type, D-Type, E-Type, XK120 and the Mark II sedan. Jaguar was purchased by India’s Tata in 2010 along with Land Rover and the two companies began sharing engines and other technology, similar to their previous partnership with Ford Motor Co.
