Rivian

Rivian is an all-electric automaker that has brought to market two vehicles, the R1S SUV and the R1T Pickup Truck. Each vehicle is offered with a range of three battery sizes and depending on which battery is outfitted to the vehicle, it’ll be fast and long-lasting. These vehicles promise 0 to 60 mph times of roughly 3 seconds, with a top range of about 400 miles. Late last year deliveries of both the R1T and R1S began in limited numbers. Expect a much larger much rollout through 2022.

Rivian To Add New Trims To The R1T And S Lineup Soon

The R1T and R1S lineup will now encompass three total trims: Entry, Adventure, and Premium, likely in that order. Currently, Rivian offers the R1T and S Adventure with dual-motor AWD, a Performance dual-motor AWD setup, and a quad-motor AWD setup. There’s no telling exactly how the new trim levels will change these offerings, but we should find out soon- Rivian’s NHTSA paperwork shows these changes could take effect for 2025 model year trucks and SUVs.
