Last week, Volvo teased its V60 Racing wagon that was scheduled to make its debut at the 2012 Sao Paulo Motor Show, and now the Swedish automaker has unveiled its newest race car.

Powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder T5 engine, the Volvo V6 Racing has more than 250 hp and features a paint scheme that pays tribute to the Volvo 850 station wagons that competed in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) in the 1990s. The V60 Racing features 18-inch wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 2 rubber, while the powerplant is mated to a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission.

Hopefully we’ll see some coverage of the Volvo V6 Racing wagon in action soon, and perhaps even that dual-clutch transmission used in a few street cars.
