Jaguar is teasing its range-topping XFR-S for a second time ahead of its scheduled debut during the L.A. Auto Show this week.

As the range-topping version, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the XFR-S will have a big spoiler, but this is the first clear look offered by the automaker. Spy photos showed the car testing with almost no camouflage, but the closeup seen here shows its curvature and reveals that it is, at least in part, made of carbon fiber.

Slated to be the fastest sedan in Jaguar’s history, it will come with the same 5.0-liter supercharged V8 as the XKR-S making 550 hp and
510 lb-ft of torque.

As the fastest sedan in Jaguar’s lineup, the car will need to have a top speed above 174 mph, which is what the XFR can reach when equipped with the Speed Pack.
