Honda Fit EV Available on East Coast
Honda just announced its Fit EV will be available at select Honda dealerships in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and New Jersey before the end of the month.
“Expanding the availability of the ultra-efficient Fit EV to the East Coast is the next logical step in Honda’s strategic and customer-focused approach to growing the market for low-CO2, sustainable mobility technologies,” said Steve Center, vice president of the American Honda Environmental Business Development Office.

Having originally launched in July, 2012 in California and Oregon, the Honda Fit EV will be limited to just 1,100 units in the U.S. initially, and is available only as a three-year lease at a price of $389 a month.
The expansion to the East Coast will undoubtedly attract new customers to the Fit EV, which is powered by an electric motor with 123 hp and generates 189 lb-ft of torque with a 118-MPGe rating.
