Ford Inflatable Light Urban Vehicle… What the Heck?

Step outside of the box for a minute… way outside. Ford filed for a trademark on something crazy last month.

On March 21, the brand filed for a trademark for an inflatable light urban vehicle or iLUV. Apple users might recognize that as an accessory brand that sells everything from iPod dock boom boxes to cases, cables and headphones.

Ford, on the other hand, seems to be planning something of an even quirkier nature than the aforementioned company’s creative carrying cases.

The filing didn’t discuss any other details for the product, but speculation on forum FordInsideNews suggests that it could be a small electric vehicle for the European or Chinese markets.
