Transformers 4 Bugatti Veyron Gives Autobots New Speed
The billion-dollar Transformers movie franchise, fittingly, will feature a car worthy of someone with a billion-dollar checkbook.
Bugatti just announced that the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse will be the latest to join in Optimus Prime’s fight to protect humanity. So, what will the car’s character sound like? How will it act?
Chevrolet launched a marketing blitz for the new Camaro when Bumblebee embodied the youthful, reckless demeanor associated with that car.
But Bugatti?
Maybe Audi and Bugatti should trade places in the Transformers and Iron Man movies. The relatively attainable R8 would make a fantastic hero while Bugatti’s holier-than-thou halo car positively radiates Stark’s cocksure style. For better or worse, the marketing budgets history books won’t be swayed at this point.
On the plus side, this could be the one of the most entertaining stages ever to welcome the Volkswagen-owned French nameplate.
