According to recent reports, Opel will be heading to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show with a Monza coupe concept car.

Potentially previewing a future Buick Grand National, the Opel Monza concept is believed to be a rear-wheel-drive coupe that is being built to compete with the likes of the Audi A5 and BMW 4 Series. Since it’s being built on a rear-wheel-drive platform, it’s likely that the Opel concept uses the Cadillac ATS architecture.

The concept is expected to look aggressive with a low, muscular stance, thin headlights, and giant air intakes. It will feature an evolution of the current Opel/Vauxhall design language set off by a large grille with a chrome bar.

Numerous rumors point to a long list of possible additions to the Buick lineup, including versions of the Opel Adam mini car Cascada convertible as well as a third crossover called the Anthem.
