If bigger is better, BMW might be bringing its best yet to the 2014 Beijing Motor Show.

It is being rumored that the German automaker will debut a 9 Series concept in Beijing, where ultra-luxury sedans rule the road. The range-topping model will specifically cater to the affluent Chinese customers and is believed to be based on the upcoming lightweight platform that is underpinning the next-generation 7 Series.

Dubbed G11, the new 7 Series platform will reduce the weight of the current flagship sedan to similar numbers as the current 5 Series sedan. At the rapid rate that BMW is continuing to expand its model lineup, it wouldn’t entirely be a shock to see a 9 Series concept on the horizon.
