Porsche Plans a Big Presence for Pebble Beach

Porsche fans attending this year’s Monterey Car Week will have a lot to look forward to.

The German automaker has announced its attendance for this year’s event, which takes place from August 12 through August 17. To start off the week, Porsche will attend the Carmel-by-the-Sea’s Concours on the Avenue with vehicles not usually seen during the rest of the weekend, including a wide variety of Porsche sports and race cars with over 175 on display. The company will then host its Porsche Zentrum at the Quail Lodge Club from August 13 to August 16. There, Porsche will offer test drives of its latest models and Porsche Exclusive will be on site to allow visitors to customize their future Porsche to their desires.

Those wanting a closer look at Porsche Club of America will want to head to the inaugural Werks Reunion that will take place on August 15 from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PT at Rancho Canada Golf Club. On display there will be hundreds of Porsche cars across all generations. Also on August 15, Porsche will be in attendance at the Quail Lodge’s Motorsports Gathering, bringing its 919 Hybrid and 911 RSR race cars and its 918 Spyder exotic.

Motorsports enthusiasts are also in for a treat with Porsche Cars North America hosting Porsche car owners and drivers at the Porsche Paddocks Club which will be open from August 15 to August 17. Race fans will be able to enjoy the Porsche 917, 918 Spyder and the 919 prototype on display outside the garages.

Lastly, the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance will star the Porsche 918 Spyder on Sunday, August 17.
