Hyundai has previewed its fifth and final project heading to the 2014 SEMA Show.

A custom 2015 Hyundai Sonata built by John Pangilinan will combine high performance driving dynamics with the striking visuals of Los Angeles street art. Dubbed the JP Edition Sonata, the custom sedan will maintain the factory white paintwork as its base, representing a blank white canvas, before being subtly transformed with the collaboration of Flexfit | BCSMP and Mr. 44, a renowned Los Angeles-based street artist.

Giving the Sonata a more aggressive stance is a set of Progress Sport springs while a staggered set of 19-inch Gram Lights 57Getter wheels adorn each corner. LTMW contributes with a custom widebody and lip kit while inside the Sonata receives Recaro Cross Sportster seats and Katzkin reupholstered leather.

Performance will be enhanced through an AEM cold air intake, MagnaFlow exhaust and Bisimoto hot charge pipe while the in-car electronics will benefit from a plethora of goods from Alpine Electronics. Look for more information on the JP Edition Hyundai Sonata when it officially bows in Las Vegas on November 4.

“Inspired by a trip earlier this year to the Pow! Wow! Hawai’i art event in Hawaii, I wanted to connect the street art culture to automotive, without going too over the top with a full blown art car,” said John Pangilinan. “This build features a balance of performance products, in-car entertainment with the latest innovations and clean styling, representing the enthusiasts whose cars showcase an extension of their personalities and lifestyles.”
