Fastest Lap Times at the AutoGuide Test Track
There’s no better place to test the true performance of a vehicle than on the track, which is why we often head to our local road course for comparison articles of everything from sports cars to hot hatches. But which car is fastest?
Now into our third year at the same facility, we’ve compiled a list of every car we’ve timed at the 1.86-mile AutoGuide Test Track* and listed them below. We’ll continue to update this list as we test more cars and be sure to make a BIG DEAL when a new car tops our list.

* Because you want to know, the track is actually Toronto Motorsports Park or Cayuga. While there are no elevation changes, the track provides a good mix of speed, handling and braking ensuring a balanced mix of vehicle performance in a controlled environment.
** Timed during our 2014 AutoGuide Under $30,000 Performance Car Shootout. The track was hot and greasy during testing, leading to slower than usual lap times.

The "Fastest Lap Times" list is a good tool to use when considering a new car purchase. There is, however, one element missing that would make it a great list, and that is the price of each car tested. Yes ?
