Honda has announced that the Crosstour is being axed.

The slow-selling Accord variant won’t see a 2016 model, which will allow Honda’s East Liberty, Ohio, plant to focus on building the CR-V and Acura RDX models. Honda also will be moving production of the Accord Hybrid from its Marysville, Ohio, plant to the Sayama factory in Japan.

Honda Crosstour sales have been disappointing for the brand since its launch in 2010 and only 742 units were sold last month. Honda also expects that its new HR-V crossover will serve the needs of the customers that were eyeing the Crosstour to begin with.

Funny how a car doesn't sell well when Honda has no advertising campaign of any kind for the vehicle... I personally love the car, (I have a 2013 EX-L V6), Lots of room for my 6'5" frame, sits slightly higher off the ground providing easy of entry for my bad knees, very comfortable and quiet ride, and styling that looks great! The HRV is not in the same class as the Crosstour, it is way too small... Once again Honda hasn't got a clue what they have or what to do with it...

I had the car for 3 years with a lease. On first look we loved the car. To us the small rear window took us a little getting use to. Went on a rode trip with my family 5 of us from Miami to Atlanta wasn't comfortable at all. Trunk space was smaller when we thought. Baby trend sit and stand stroller for the boys didn't fit with out taking the wheels off. Nice looking car but for 30 plus dollars I don't know.
