Pricing and production numbers for the limited edition series HyperBlue Subaru BRZ and WRX STI models have been announced.

The Subaru BRZ HyperBlue will be limited to 500 units while the WRX STI in the stylish light blue shade will see 700 produced. As 2016 model year cars, the Subaru BRZ HyperBlue will have a starting price tag of $28,485 including destination, while the Subaru WRX STI HyperBlue will go for $39,790.

For the WRX STI model, HyperBlue stitching will also be standard on the Alcantara seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, manual transmission shifter boot and console as well as carpeted floor mats with the traditional Cherry Red STI logo. The WRX STI model will also come standard with keyless access and push-button start and PIN code access.

The BRZ will also get the HyperBlue stitching treatment in the cabin, while the exterior will come with 17-inch black wheels, black finish exterior badging and mirrors. There’s also a new frameless day/night rearview mirror.

It’s unclear if Subaru plans on continuing the HyperBlue paint shade after the 2016 model year, so act fast if you’re a hyper fan, since these models are extremely limited.
