Jay Leno recently went undercover as an UberBlack driver, shuttling around unsuspecting people in Los Angeles, California.
Leno disguised himself as a bald bearded man and said his name was James. He also engaged in small talk with his passengers, bringing up late night talk show hosts while taking them to their destinations. The undercover Uber driving campaign was part of a promotion for Jay Leno’s Garage, which will be heading to CNBC starting October 7. Up until now, Jay Leno’s Garage has been a web-only show.
The primetime series will have eight episodes, each an hour long and will cover all things automotive including classic cars, super cars, restoration projects, road tests, investments and the inner workings of the car collectors’ market.
