Lexus LC500 Left Lookin' Extra Wide After Liberty Walk Treatment

No car is safe from Liberty Walk’s world-famous widebody treatments.

The Japanese tuning company has developed widebody kits for just about every exotic or performance car under the sun, including the Nissan GT-R, McLaren 650S and Lamborghini Aventador. Their latest creation is a widebody version of the Lexus LC500, and while we’re typically fans of heavily tuned widebody cars, we actually think it looks pretty good.

Liberty Walk’s kit for the LC500 consists of front, side and rear carbon diffusers, a rear duckbill wing and absolutely massive fender flares. Wide aftermarket wheels occupy the newly enlargened fenders, while other small mods such as quad exhaust tips and vinyl decals help complete the package.

There are two different versions of the LB kit for the LC500, each of which are offered in carbon fiber or fiberglass. They won’t come cheap, with the least expensive version of the kit costing $13,380 USD and the most expensive costing $19,440. Those prices shouldn’t be too much of a worry for owners of the $92,000 LC500, though.

That bodywork looks like something you'd see in two instances: -cars & coffee gathering with someone that kept adding more and more during a project...yet the overall look doesn't add anything of substance to the car -a tuner show where each competitor is trying to out do the other. Way too busy and a lot going on that doesn't mesh together in a well executed manner

such a waste...are these real or renderings; the exhaust looks the same btwn the two...I guess LW was relevant 10 years ago, but here recently; like Wings West was 20 years ago...it seems to be the same ol' widebody treatment on each car with little to no imagination. Sure, they throw in some wheels, Ti exhaust, and air suspension along with their fenders, but that's it (as far as I can see). I guess its like a music artist that uses the same beat for all of his/her songs, but changes the words so it is "technically" a different song. $25k spent where it didn't need to be spent. Let me guess, they'll do wide fenders, Ti exhaust, wheels and air suspension on the new Supra too, when it comes out...good news is they will have the Lexus to work from...
