The updated 2019 Dodge Challenger Hellcat may be getting a large increase in power.

Fiat Chrysler teased the 2019 Challenger Hellcat in a new video this week, which is cryptically titled ‘RED797_62818’. If we had to guess, we’d say the ‘797’ figure in that sequence of letters and numbers refers to the amount of horsepower the facelifted Challenger Hellcat will have. After all, now that the 808 hp Challenger Demon is out of production, Dodge doesn’t have to worry about the Challenger Hellcat stepping on the halo model’s toes.

We’re also expecting the 2019 Hellcat to receive other equipment from the Demon, such as the ‘Line Lock’ burnout function and Launch Assist and Torque Reserve systems for better acceleration.

Dodge has also released an image showing a three 2019 Challenger Hellcats alongside the new 2019 Charger Hellcat. The image fully reveals the muscle coupe’s new double nostrilled hood, which was also seen in a darkened teaser image for the car released earlier this year.

Full details on the 2019 Challenger Hellcat will be released shortly.
