GMC Yukon Graphite Edition Welcomes the Darkness

Like any teenager within 100 miles of a Hot Topic, the GMC Yukon is ready for its goth phase.

With big dark wheels, blacked out accents, and more to boot, the Yukon Graphite Edition is here to tell you all about how Robert Smith is the only true poet since Poe.

The Graphite Edition comes standard with 22-inch bright silver on Carbon Flash wheels, a black chrome grille, black accents, black beltline moldings, body-color grille surrounds, black fog light surrounds, and bright pink running boards. Just kidding. They’re black, too.

The Yukon Graphite Performance Edition, meanwhile, comes with all of that darkness, and a 6.2-liter V8 belting out 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The bigger engine is paired to a 10-speed auto and the whole car is suspended with Magnetic Ride Control.

Both variants come in one of three colors: Onyx Black, Dark Sky Metallic, or White Frost Tricoat. Both variants also come in either RWD or AWD and can be ordered in either standard or XL.

“The Yukon continues to lead the full-size SUV segment with premium features and an instantly recognizable and well-respected identity,” said Stu Pierce, senior marketing manager for GMC. “The all-new Graphite Edition builds on the commanding road presence and inherent capabilities of the Yukon and affords customers the opportunity to project a unique, yet distinctly GMC style.”
